I found a few more items in storage that belong to Bisous. This CQR anchor that I’d bought years ago for this boat. Also this anchor rode bag with chain and rope rode inside.

With the new chain pipe in place I’ve finished putting together the anchor rode, splicing both ends of the 300-ft rode onto the 5/16″ chain and installing an attachment point inside the boat.

hanging an anchor on the pulpit

Since installing a chain pipe I’ve been able to mount the original Danforth anchor off the bow pulpit using the anchor bracket I’d bought the other day. The anchor doesn’t fit it too well however. I believe it’s made for a newer version of this fluke anchor,
